Approach to Teaching:
Learning is both an individual and communal process of transformation. As an educator-practitioner, I am a facilitator of that transformation and part of the community that is transformed. In my courses, I enable transformative learning by explicitly valuing students’ diverse lived experiences, by connecting the classroom to community through projects and partnerships, and by engaging students in critically-reflexive processes that model professional standards of practice.
Courses:
- FNH 440/HUNU 541 – Food Provision Management
- FNH 340/HUNU 540 – Food Theory and Application, including Teaching Kitchen
- HUNU 573 – Population and Public Health Dietetics
- MND Practice Education Placement Courses: HUNU 579, HUNU 582, HUNU 583
As the Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics Program Lead, Anna coordinates curriculum delivery and practice education experiences for Master of Nutrition and Dietetics students.
