Message from the dean for LFS Community Connects: September 2021
I hope you are enjoying the crisper, cooler weather that September brings.
I’ve connected with many of you over these past few months. You have worked hard to survive – and even thrive – throughout these challenging times. You continue to innovate, whether it be through new product development, finding ways to reduce costs or better balance your resources – facing each new obstacle head-on during COVID-19.
I think we’re all looking forward to brighter days ahead.
Fall is a time of change and often it feels like the start of a new year. For me, it’s about transformation as we welcome a new group of students, as instructors settle into classes and the university campus comes to life. I’m glad to say that this fall we are welcoming students back on campus.
I hope that all of you have an enjoyable and fruitful fall season.
Stay safe,
Rickey Yada
